MSI G4101 EPYC 4x GPU 4U Rackmount Workstation Ports
Power Switch: On/off button for the device.
UID Button: Press to turn both front and rear Unit Identification (UID) Lights on / off.
Reset Switch: Immediately hard-restarts system. Last resort only, as it will lose unsaved data and may corrupt OS.
USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) Port(s): Universal Serial Bus (USB) port for connecting USB 3.2 Gen 1 and older devices (5 Gb/s).
HDD LED: Light that turns on when there is drive activity.
Temperature Sensor LED: Activates when the a high temperature is detected, if a TC-ISF08 sensor board is installed.
LAN LED: Light that turns on when there is any wired network activity.
VGA Out Port: Video Graphics Adapter (VGA) port for outputting analog video.
IPMI LAN Port: RJ-45 plug for remote management of computer via IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface).
Serial RJ45 Port: Serial console port with RJ45 interface.
For storage, there are two internal PCIe 3.0 M.2 slots (though only one operates at full x4 speed) and twelve 2.5-inch drive bays along the front of the chassis. Those bays support U.2 NVMe drives thanks to the abundant PCIe lanes from the EPYC processor.
External connectivity consists of three USB 3.2 ports plus VGA and an Ethernet port for remote management, but no standard networking port built-in. Instead, there are two additional PCIe 4.0 x8 slots for faster network adapters or other expansion cards.
Sliding rails for mounting the system are included.
