This Supermicro heatsink and fan unit is a mid-height CPU cooler for AMD's Threadripper PRO processors. It fits well in both tower and 4U rackmount cases, thanks to the included 92mm fan, and while it isn't as loud as more compact 2U size coolers it is far from quiet. That shouldn't be an issue in rack systems, but for tower workstations with more space we recommend a heatsink with a larger, quieter fan.
